15 of the Iconic looks from the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards 2019

The Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards happened on 13th December 2019 at Kampala Serana hotel and as usual, the event gave us unforgettable fashion moments.

Themed “The Stars”, the ASFAs 2019 was hosted by Deedan Muyira and Vimbai Mutinhiri. As always, the Redcarpet was painted with fashion, glamour, elegance and nothing short of entertainment with Jidenna, Ozwald Boateng, David Tlale among other Africans on Kampala’s biggest night, and Africas best Red carpet event.

From Jidenna to Fabiola, here are some of the nights most glamorous looks from the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards 2019.

Spice Diana

SPICE DIANA

In a red heart shaped dress, Spice Diana wore one of the nights most talked about outfits which was anything but boring. The heartful look is balanced with a box head piece and minimalistic make up.

JIDENNA

Before the classic man performed some of his best records on stage, for the red carpet Jidenna wore a Kaftan suit with black ankle boots and golden jewellery. For his performance, Jidenna wore a black asymmetric free fall suit.

Vimbai Mutinhiri

VIMBAI MUTINHIRI

Vimbai is always about classic clean fashion, and her 2019 red carpet look was simply classic; a cream glowing dress with a bow on the chest. Simple and Perfect.

Deedan Muyira

DEEDAN MUYIRA

Deedan pulls out her most glamorous side in blue couture. She serves high thigh class and sass in this blue beaded custom dress.

Mavo Kampala

MAVO KAMPALA

Stylist and costume designer Mavo Kampala shows up in an all black “Plague doctor” costume. He tops the look with snake dummies and high black platform boots.

Bettinah Tianah

BETTINAH TIANA

Bettinah rains on the red carpet in a long sleeved peach riffled dress. The TV personality and beauty business woman sets the red carpet on fire by keeping the look simple with no accessories and simple make up.

Amar Jonathan

AMAR JONATHAN

Amar takes home the Male Fashionista of the year award in a black and white ensemble. The fashionista combines checked pants with a black open neck shirt. He completes the look with Jewellery, loafers and a black purse.

Lydia Jazmine

LYDIA JAZMINE

Lydia Jazmine makes a true red carpet statement in her yellow skirt with black prints. She completed the look with a caged dove and caused a red carpet frenzy by coming with ripped men holding her dress.

Tazibone Solomon

TAZIBONE SOLOMON

Tazibone goes faceless even before the look became a trend. In black and white, the stylist wears a custom Kimono suit and black V-neck and a black chest harness belt. The look is completed with white sneakers.

Pia Pounds

PIA POUNDS

Pia glows in a see through feather mermaid dress with flowing pearls on the right hand. She completes the look with red lipstick and a high bun.

Ozwald Boateng

OZWALD BOATENG

Ozwald wears all red from head to toe. The lifetime achievement award winner wore a print suit, with sneakers made from similar material.

Brian Ahumuza

BRIAN AHUMUZA

Abryanz goes classic and elegant in David Tlale’s asymmetric black and white suit. He rocks one silver ear ring and glossy black oxford shoes with white shoelaces. Brian Ahumuza is the proprietor of the ASFAs.

Malaika Katenshi

MALAIKA KATENSHI

Malaika shimmers in a sequin long dress with a furry top finishing. Her wallet, golden jewellery, up hair and perfect eye shadow give this look a complete seal.

Anita Fabiola & Anita Beryl

ANITA BERYL & ANITA FABIOLA

For the ASFAs 2019, Beryl Anita a bridal designer channels elegant fashion. She was behind the custom looks for both Anita Fabiola and her self.

Grenade

GRENADE OFFICIAL

Grenade creates one of the most creative looks of the night as he tranforms an ordinary black suit into a safety-pin suit. Complimented with a golden necklace, and ear rings that are all designed with safety pins. He completes the look with diamond framed round shades.

Due to the pandemic, the awards did not happen in 2020 and 2021. The event is set to return to Kampala on 15th December 2022 at Kampala Serena Hotel organised by Abyanz Collection in partnership with Talent Africa, the Awards are set to return to Kampala on 16th of December 2022.
