BACKGROUND.
During the maiden show back in 2013, the Awards received an over whelming response, that was a great motivation for the years that followed.
The Abryanz Style & Fashion Awards 2013 were held in 2013, at the MTN Arena, Lugogo. The well attended event had over 2,000 guests present to witness the birth of a celebration that would later grow and become a regional achievement.
In attendance were Ugandan celebrities like Exodus, Maurice Kirya, Hon. Mukasa Mbidde and many other socialites. Also in attendance was English- Ghanaian Fashion Designer Ozwald Boateng, known for his classic and very enviable men’s suits designer line.
In 2014, the guests turned the glamour and glitz notch a step higher and the red carpet as one of the biggest highlights of the night.
The night was graced Kampala’s leading celebrities and artistes like Radio & Weasel, Juliana Kanyomozi, Desire Luzinda, gospel Artiste Exodus, and many others.
There were also Ugandans from the Diaspora in attendance including Australia based fashion designer, Suzan Mutesi that walked away with an accolade at the end of the night.
With Ciroc Uganda, Cheki Uganda, NTV Uganda and so many others on board as sponsors for last year, we were able to put up the biggest and most glamorous event in Kampala.
The show not only had the most star studded guest list ever, but the media frizzy and coverage of the event was enormous. International media agencies like CNN, Bella Naija, and national media houses like NTV, WBS TV, Urban TV, NBS Tv and more all took a great share of the media that ASFAs 2015 had to offer.
With Nigerian Superstar Banky W, as the night’s guest artiste, we also had some of the Big Brother Hot Shots, Sauti Sol, Swanky Jerry from Nigeria, and Vera Sidika from Kenya in attendance.
